Terror Every day! Lets stop it Now!!!

The terror strike again! This time, it is in children’s park in Lahore! I was worried about the recent terror attacks in Belgium, part because it was a terror attack in one of the most peaceful nations and part because one of my close friends landed recently in Brussels for a project work but the latest one made me write this blog. This attack is just like Brussels or  Paris or London or Spain or Peshawar or Mumbai or countless places in middle east...and who can forget the meltdown of the twin towers! Each passing year, it is more dangerous than the past one, every year there are more terror attacks, more blasts, and beheadings, more kids dying! Is this the world we want to live or our children to grow??? Sam Huntington's prophecy is finally showing up, but it is a little bit tilted towards Islam Vs Everyone!

While there is much debate on this topic and in the midst of relentless news coverage, I started doing my research. I may be wrong or right, but this is what I think...

I know a lot of Muslim friends, almost everyone is progressive, just like me, trying to live a real life but then there are others who are out to destroy the name of Islam with evil acts. Is it just all or there is more to it? It seems there are few more layers than we think there is.

Let's go back in the past, in the seventh - eighth century, we can see there is a religious/socio/politico/economic movement starting from the Arabian peninsula wants to convert the entire planet under its influence, It is Islam. Okba Ibn Nafi reaches Morocco but cannot find any more land beyond it thus turns inward! Let's jump to the first thrust area of the middle east, Ottoman empire during the medieval centuries with its riches, glory and Janissaries trying to better Alexander the great! They pushed into Europe trying to put the faith in the infidel lands. It is quite evident today with nations like Kosovo or Albania. They worked hard, but the siege of Vienna went the other way and after that, only setbacks! Russo wars ended the dream!

Let's come to the second thrust! It hit the Indian subcontinent through the Khyber pass / Sindh route. It started with the usual "loot" and the "killing of Infidels" but aggressively/steadily converted into first "Sultanate" and then the more magnificent "Mughal" empire. Over a period of 700 years, these "Fidels" won almost all the battles and subdued the majority " Infidel" population, but Marathas and to a lesser extent Sikhs spoiled the plot to convert the "Dar al-Harb" into "Dar al Islam". The Britishers finished whatever was left.

Bottom line, they failed to establish their rule completely on both these fronts and not to mention the conquer of the new worlds by Christians! Some people wanted a different global order, and the fault line is very thick. The hurt is deeper.

Modern day Turkey and Pakistan inherited the Ottoman and Mughal empires respectively. More recently, Saudi Arabia and Iran started coloring the world map with their colors fueled with newly found oil diplomacy. Some influential people from these four countries are not satisfied thus always trying to do something to raise their stakes in the world affair by destabilising other regions through “Faith Money". In this whole process, these folks aligned with the great powers of cold war, who used them in propagating their supremacy. With world powers on their side, Turkey and Pakistan committed biggest genocides of the 20th century, remember Bangladesh and Armenia? It is critical to see the current issues from this perspective because the scale of violence tells something, Isn't? A section of the Muslim societies still wants its former military glory back and rule this world, thus, you see terror attacks, military confrontations, riots all over the seeming boundaries or in our neighbourhoods, Everything is pursued through firebrand Mullahs. A lot of venoms is coming out of the seminaries and mosques funded by oil money. Their violence is endless and for every death, they have the devilish smile.

This story is incomplete without Israel. The formation of this nation fueled Jihad to a whole new extent. We will talk about this problem some other time. The point is, it exists and if it is not possible to go backwards then let's start living in peace together! Is there a problem? Why to polarise peaceful Muslims with acts in the desert.

In general, there is a problem with assimilation. In the modern era everyone is assimilating with everyone but some Mullahs teaching otherwise to the faithful, "there is no God other than their God" and everyone else who thinks otherwise is "Kafir" and it is their prime responsibility to ensure these "others" get in line.It may be a big reason that most Muslims do not assimilate with people from other faith. Maybe I am wrong, but this is what I feel. These Mullahs need to be stopped spreading Venom in the name of Islam.

We are talking about Islam here in detail, but if you look into the history of other religions, the story does not look much different. So why only Islam? It is because every other religion or to be precise religious jingoists of other faiths are fading but this is not the trend in Islam. Maybe this is a topic for some other day!

The feeling of superior race based on the pure form of religion among the extreme faithful is hell bent on establishing Caliphate as a whole or in pieces. This attitude needs some correction. Anyone should be free to believe in God or not. There is nothing in killing innocent people. Life is a beautiful experience, and we all live it only once. Everyone need to understand it to the core.Even if there is an afterlife, there is nothing like this one! Live and let live!

The best solution is to ensure everyone understands the real meaning of Islam! It is not about killing but subjugation towards God and let's correct those who feel and propagate otherwise. Muslims in India are a shining example of it. Let's stop the Wahabis spreading their version of Islam which is eclipsing its goodness. Various Muslim organizations condemn these attacks, but they need to do more than mere lip service and do something concrete about it because the hardliners are hiding somewhere behind them in the dark.  The moderate Muslim needs to stand up against the violent Islam and fight to take back their religion from the hands of the extremists because the change which comes within lasts long! Let's hope it happens before we lose humanity!

Two Bears and a Deadlock!!!

Last time when happened, It created a sea of heart breaks, broken dreams and shattered futures.Recession cut loosed dementors to suck out the very life out of the life creating soul less individuals at their will.Memory of the aftermath is still a fresh in our minds with life as usual coming back on terms. Just a month ago i read in fortune about wealth creation and it seems it has reached new heights creating hype and hope of bullish economy and speedy recovery but wait is it real? or is just another bubble created because of the super economic activity of the two bears!
International fraternity freezes to death every time these Bears roar. Japan and most of Europe is dealing with worst debt crisis in modern history with speculation on the rife about a possible fallout.Where all these leads us? US is out to nurse its ailing economy with visions on more savings and less consumption of foreign goods while China is trying to super cool it's super heated economy with more emphasis on domestic consumption and less savings. But is this possible? Are they really equipped withe the short term losses to achieve long term goals or too entangled in the quick term solutions. The answer will be more or less decided by the US policy on it's own debt solution. On August the second with the current monetary flows and structure US will default on the debts which will be first time in the history off course.Only debt level increase or sharp and deep cut in spending will save US, both of which will create a wave of economic destabilization and only time will tell what it means. Funny part in this system even China with all its low cost factories and newly found wealth is so much tangled into this.It has the highest stakes in US treasury bonds amounting to $1.5 trillion direct and another $500 billion (still speculated) through indirect stakes. Both partners are talking silently and all others either not listening or pretending not to listen. China is so into US that even though there is still problems with US treasury and its hitting ceilings, China can't do anything but buy more dollars with a swollen eyes! Guys this blog is not to let you know the big bears story but to educate you that things are not yet over and more waves can be coming our way in form of our lovely bubbles! So stop spending and save as much possible who knows when these bears fall out :-)

Improvement in Judiciary-Is it possible? continue...

Yesterday i wrote on the probable solution to expedite judicial processes in Indian judiciary system.Straight simple solution seems to be hire x number of judges and create y number of mobile courts and rest will be history.
Is it this simple? No. This just cannot be done.Nobody agrees that even showing a civilization of 5000 years, and a mainly democratic society for I don't know how long India still remains an uncivilized society.I am not saying it for everyone as this land has produced some of the great personalities but this still holds true for majority of population. We still are one of the most corrupt societies with absolutely no sense of morality and righteous objectives. These hired judges will not expedite justice but indeed will sell it to the highest bidder.Even the judges in current system are no exceptions and it seems barring Supreme court every other court in the country is more or less corrupt. So hats off to the indian administrators for designing a system where even corrupt folks may not get an easy bye in.So what should be the solution of this problem?

Improvement in Judiciary-Is it possible?

"Justice delayed is justice denied" how often we have heard this statement through different sources.Intellectuals and media have created continual hue and cry on this subject from time to time and after creating a temporary uproar in the mind of few, gets silenced, ready to grab something for the "good".Today this thought came across my mind once again and I as usual started analysisng it to find out why there is a delay in justice in our system? Why everyone does not get the law of land experience, early? My mind is investigating what and how to get this thing done.
First solution i came across is to hire hundreds of judges and start speedy trials by creating mobile courts. It will solve the problem once for all. But wait how to get this many number of judges? and more importantly where are these people? To many the answer is pretty straight forward.Advertisement will bring in hordes afterall we are billion plus on earth and hungry to get a good and respectful job.So the number of people required to solve the problem is solved. Is this the solution?

Be the change...
There was a pickpocket who use to pick pockets on the streets of mumbai and was content with it.Once he saw a movie on another pick pocket in a theatre. He got horrified by watching the end of the pick pocket in the movie and in the very same theatre while coming out of it, swears on his children to leave this business and to do some meaningful and honest job.But when he roams in the city he forgets his oath and resumes old job. Some times when we see something wrong in society or around us, start cursing the situation, politics, people and moreover all the elements of the society and start questioning the system.we feel like changing the things and offcourse it would be the right way, our own personal way, always right. This small periodic mindset lasts few minutes, hours and sometimes in case of some people, more than a week.
But do we really see change with that? no we do not see any changes around us and the life goes on and on something very similar to "pick pocket".
People get what they are. There can be some exceptions but definitely that wont alter the rule.
Society is formed of people and it will get decision makers who are of the same nature as we all are.So what we want to change will be only changed if we change ourselves. but the million dollar qustion is don't we know this? yes we know it and on an average tell it atleast once in a week to someone wh0 goes through the same process of thoughts and inactions. This is what we are good at doing things.
How to solve it? or should be left as an uncured cancer. The answer is no. Lets start this discussion on how to carry on the mission without getting perturbed with time.....

Smartphones:Innovation is the key

Google did it again. This time it is the nexus phone which has become the talk of the town.I was looking at the advertisement of this phone over net but to my disappointment it feels like just another "Avatar" of Iphone. It is really hard to believe that Google will bring this fone in the market which was speculating it to do so from last three years. One can easily relate it to phones like Motorola droid but offcourse nexus one has more advantages over droid.
Iphone and Blackberry are the two superstars in the Smartphone world with a huge fan following. Both seems to compete with each other in a very difficult market.Blackberry was already a established player in the market when Iphone knocked the doors and guess what? Suddenly Iphone became a superior competitor, challenging the horizons of all blackberries.
I do not see any reason of wht happened between blackberry and Iphone will happen among Nexus and these superstars.
Reason is very simple and easy to understand:Whenever you come in market with established players you need to show something different and that "different" should be strong enough to shake the ground. It can be anything like the price, style, looks and even marketing.Market equations can be altered only if you come up with something which changes the way people look at the things.Improvements are like versions and they have little capacity to elevate positions and improve ground but surely it cannot elevate you to the top.
Blackberry is the darling of corporate world and Iphone is fast catching up over there along with it's admirers in techno and personal use world. Both the phones have got big appeal and distinctive looks different to each other. One feels different after holding anyone of these two and this is because of the look and feel along with all other technological superiority over other smartphones. They were able to took the pole positions because they offered something which did not exist at that time and this requires "innovation".Both the products offered innovations and people were able to attach themselves with it and that innovation is missing from the nexus one without which i do not feel that People will divorce blackberry and iphone.
